Our Success Stories
We're proud of what we do at Farm Business Services and ATM Property Sales. Have a look at some of our success stories below and how we have helped our clients achieve their objectives.
Over Benchil Farm,Stanley, Perthshire
ATM acted as the purchasing agent for a long-term client from Northern Ireland who relocated from County Londonderry to Over Benchil near Stanley, Perthshire. Whilst the farm was on the market we negotiated a deal directly with the sellers and took the farm off the market, we then worked with the solicitors to tie the deal up in an efficient and timely manner. We have continued to work with the client assisting with annual subsidy claims and advice.
Corsewall Estate, Stranraer
FBS has worked with Corsewall Estate since 2009, over that time we have helped secure grant funding for the business to develop holiday lets across the estate, we were also successful in securing grant funding for the repair of vernacular buildings and slurry storage on one of the estate’s farms. We continue to work with Angus and Kate Carrick Buchannan on a regular basis and more recently have developed an environmental management plan for the estate through the Agri Environment Climate Scheme (AECS).
Bellymack hill farm
FBS has worked with the owner of Bellymackhill since 2003 and over this time has helped to secure grant funding for a range of successful diversification projects including the Red Kite Visitor Centre and Bellymackhill Equestrian Centre. More recently we have obtained grant funding for a public access project at Bellymackhill. We continue to work with the business looking for future development opportunities.
FERNEYCLEUcH
ATM acted as the selling agent for the owner of this property, we provided advice on how best to market the property including an advice relating planning issue. The property was put on the open market, it attracted interest from Northern Ireland, significant English interest and local farmers. A deal was negotiated before a closing date with a local dairy farmer who we are now pleased to work with in relation to NVZ records, subsidy claims and planning guidance. When marketing the property, we were one of the first selling agents to use new technology to create a marketing DVD of the property using drone technology.
Dewshill Farm dairy unit, shotts
FBS started to work with this family back in 2010 and have helped the business grow its dairy unit from around 80 cows to the current 250 cows. We secured grant funding through the SRDP for a new dairy unit, milking parlour, feed storage and slurry storage. We helped restructure the business so that increased grant rates were available towards the investment in the new dairy complex. We continue to work with the business on a regular basis.
