Young Farmers

The Scottish Government fully recognises the important role that young farmers play to ensure that farming remains dynamic and competitive.

The Young Farmer Start-Up Grant Scheme provides grant assistance for young farmers in Scotland to make improvements to their agricultural business and help promote sustainable development.

Funding can be used for capital projects, such as the construction or improvement of agricultural buildings.
